Bar in Copenhagen – Café Dan Turèll
Meet for a drink at Café Dan Turèll, a French-inspired café and bar on Store Regnegade in Indre By, central Copenhagen. Part of the city's café life since 1977, we bring together cocktails, wine, beer and music. Join friends for an afternoon drink, make us part of your evening plans, or check the programme for a weekend DJ night.

Cocktails, wine and alcohol-free drinks
Our bar menu includes familiar classics such as the Espresso Martini, Margarita, Old Fashioned and White Negroni, alongside the house's own cocktails. Try Seier with mezcal, lemon, agave and salt, or Pear Pressure with vanilla vodka, Bordiga Viol, pear and lemon. If you prefer something without alcohol, the menu also includes Misty Mint and Tropical Breeze.
There is beer and wine to explore too, whether you are meeting over a single glass or settling into the evening. Browse the menu and current bar prices before your visit, including the links to our full bar and wine lists. The menu page also covers snacks and food if you would like something alongside your drinks.
Weekend nights, DJs and football
Friday and Saturday evenings continue until 2 am. Our programme includes DJ nights and football on the big screen, giving you different reasons to drop by throughout the week. See what's on at the café for the current DJ line-up, match screenings and event times.
If you are planning your evening around a particular DJ or football match, check that listing before you set out. The programme is the place to find the details for your chosen date.
Coming with a group?
Our lounge can accommodate groups of up to 30 guests. For a celebration or drinks with a larger group, read about group visits and contact us with your preferred date, time and number of guests. A booking request is subject to availability; please wait for confirmation from the café before treating it as a reservation.
A Copenhagen café with a story
Our name comes from Danish writer and poet Dan Turèll. The café has been part of Copenhagen's café culture since 1977, bringing French café inspiration into the city. Today, the setting pairs that history with cocktails, music and a place to meet in the heart of Indre By.
